Why does flash player on youtube lag in hd?
whenever I play HD (either 720p or 1024p) video’s on any sort of flash player, like on youtube for example, the frame-rate really drops. I have 10mbps connection so internet speed isn’t the issue, and I can watch HD video’s on windows Media player and QuickTime in HD just fine, so that’s not the issue either.
does anyone know why?
the same thing happens to me. but i found out why:
hd just simply slows down the connection. its worse if u have a virus or another window open or something downloading.
Maybe try updating flashplayer?
i contacted youtube about it, and they said theres nothing can doabout it, and they ill just see what they can do. they have their maintenance on like thursdays so they might get it fixed then.
but until then, theres sadly nothing to do 
just try to not make it in fullscreen all the time w/ hd.
